Based on Geological, Geophysical and Reservoir (GGR) study performed in 2009, PT PAN had successfully completed new drilling campaign for the three (3) subsea wells in Udang East area in 2010/2011. The infrastructures to connect the oil well to the FPSO are being fabricated and will be ready for completion in August 2012. An additional of 4,000 BOPD is expected from these three subsea wells.
2013 will be the more busy year for PT PAN with the development of Udang Satellite Structure. A new Minimum Platform Facility will be built and 4 – 6 wells will be drilled accordingly from the platform. An additional of 7,000 BOPD is targeted to be achieved from Udang Satellite in third quarter of 2013.
Subsequent development are planned for Kepiting Further Development and Udang Infill Sidetracked wells in 2014. Two existing Kepiting Subsea wells will be reactivated and 2 – 3 additional development wells will be drilled on the Kepiting structure. Another additional 7,000 BOPD is expected from further development of Kepiting field in mid 2014.
Following the Kepiting development, Udang Infill (Sidetracked) wells are ready to drill for 2014. Four (4) wells are planned to be drilled in mid 2014 from Udang A P/F and additional production of 4,000 BOPD is expected to commence in late 2014.
With this busy activities, our subsurface team continues to evaluate the opportunity to increase the asset value. With advance geophysical study and different geological concept, the team come up with finding of significant gas accumulation in Arang shallow horizons.
